Okuti Introduces Mokoro Trips
For the first time, guests staying at Okuti Camp in the renowned Moremi Game Reserve can enjoy one of Botswana’s most iconic safari experiences — a mokoro trip.
The mokoro, a traditional dugout canoe, forms an important part of Botswana’s culture and history. Originally, local communities carved mokoros from indigenous trees. Today, many operators use eco-friendly fibreglass mokoros to help protect the environment.
