duba plains camp
Duba Plains Camp is a luxury safari camp in the Okavango Delta, Botswana. The Camp offers exceptional wildlife and a truly immersive safari experience. Set in a remote and wildlife-rich area, Duba Plains Camp provides access to both land and water-based activities. Built on a private island, the camp is shaded by ancient ebony, fig, and mangosteen trees. It is surrounded by expansive floodplains that change with the seasons. This pristine wilderness is known for dramatic predator-prey encounters.
Duba Plains Camp in the Okavango Delta
The area is famous for battles between lions and buffalo. These were captured in the National Geographic documentary Relentless Enemies. Duba Plains Camp is ideal for travellers seeking thrilling wildlife and traditional safari luxury.
The accommodation consists of five spacious tented suites. Each suite is connected by sandy pathways and blends into the surrounding bush.
Wide, netted windows allow natural airflow. Wooden doors open onto a private veranda with sweeping floodplain views. Each en suite bathroom includes both indoor and outdoor showers.
At the heart of the camp is an elevated, multi-level deck. Guests can relax here and take in the views. The split-level lounge features local Okavango crafts. It also includes a small library, bar, and tea and coffee station.
Meals are served at a communal dining table. In the evening, guests gather around the boma firepit under the stars.
A plunge pool with sun loungers offers a cool space to unwind while watching wildlife.
