Khwai Lediba
Khwai Lediba is situated in the Khwai area, a community-run concession on the eastern border of Moremi Game Reserve. The Khwai River forms a natural boundary between the reserve and the community area. As the only permanent water source for miles, it consistently attracts a wide variety of wildlife, creating exceptional game-viewing opportunities throughout the year.
Accommodation at Khwai Lediba
The lodge offers accommodation in seven luxury tented suites. These include five twin or double suites, one family suite, and one honeymoon suite. Each suite features a private viewing deck, allowing uninterrupted views of the surrounding African bush.
In addition, all suites are elegantly furnished and include both indoor and outdoor showers. The family suite is thoughtfully designed with interconnecting bedrooms, making it ideal for families. Meanwhile, the honeymoon suite offers an outdoor bath, creating a romantic and memorable safari experience.
Camp Experience & Facilities
The interiors at Khwai Lediba reflect the lush greens of the surrounding landscape, blending seamlessly with nature. The design combines understated sophistication with authentic African elements, creating a calm and inviting retreat after a day on safari.
The main area includes a dining space, as well as comfortable lounge and reading areas. Here, guests can relax and unwind between activities. During the warmer parts of the day, guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool or relax on the sunbeds on the spacious deck. Additionally, a small curio shop offers locally crafted items and unique souvenirs.
In the evenings, guests gather around the firepit under the stars, enjoying the warmth of the fire while reflecting on the day’s experiences.

Guests can enjoy a diverse range of safari activities. These include day and night game drives, mokoro excursions, and guided walking safaris.
Night drives, in particular, offer the opportunity to spot elusive nocturnal species such as genets, bush babies, and aardvarks. In contrast, walking safaris provide a slower, more immersive experience, focusing on tracks, plants, and smaller wildlife.
Additionally, mokoro excursions allow guests to glide through the Delta’s reed-lined waterways, offering peaceful encounters with birds, frogs, and semi-aquatic animals.
