ZAMBIA
Zambia offers one of Southern Africa’s most authentic safari experiences, pairing abundant wildlife with highly skilled guides, striking landscapes and a broad range of lodges and camps. Visitors can explore on day and night game drives, guided walks, canoe or boat excursions, and thrill-seekers can add white-water rafting on the Zambezi River. The river itself forms the boundary with Zimbabwe, gathering the waters of the Luangwa before flowing east into Mozambique.
South Luangwa National Park provides sweeping riverbank views where hippo, crocodile and large game congregate. Lower Zambezi National Park sustains dense concentrations of wildlife along its floodplains, while North Luangwa is renowned for walking safaris in a pristine setting. Kafue National Park, one of Africa’s largest reserves, offers rewarding big-game sightings and exceptional birdlife. A journey often concludes at Victoria Falls on the Zambian side, rounding out a diverse and memorable safari circuit.

Explore Victoria Falls and Zambezi National Park
Victoria Falls, where Zimbabwe, Zambia, and Botswana meet, is a spectacular natural wonder known for its misty cascades and thrilling activities like helicopter flights, river cruises, and bungee jumping. Just upstream, Zambezi National Park offers game drives and walking safaris among elephants, lions, and antelope—making it a perfect twin-destination for nature and adventure lovers.

Liuwa Plains National Park
Liuwa Plain National Park, in Zambia’s remote western corner, is a vast grassland wilderness known for its dramatic skies, annual wildebeest migration, and strong conservation history. Home to hyena clans, lions, cheetahs, and rare birds, it offers a raw, uncrowded safari experience. Visitors can enjoy game drives, birding, and seasonal canoeing during the flood.

Lower Zambezi National Park
Lower Zambezi National Park lies along the northern bank of the Zambezi River in southeastern Zambia, opposite Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools. Known for canoeing safaris, tiger fishing, and riverside game viewing, the park features lush floodplains and escarpment woodlands. Visitors regularly spot elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, hippos, and abundant birdlife on land and water-based safaris.

Mosi-oa-Thunya National Park, Livingstone
Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, located near Livingstone, Zambia, is home to the iconic Victoria Falls—“the smoke that thunders.” This UNESCO World Heritage Site combines rainforest trails with riverfront wildlife viewing. Visitors can see white rhino, giraffe, zebra, and antelope on guided game drives, while also enjoying easy access to falls tours, adrenaline sports, and cultural experiences.

South Luangwa National Park
South Luangwa National Park, in eastern Zambia, is one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations and the birthplace of the walking safari. Centered on the Luangwa River, the park is famous for its high densities of leopards, elephants, hippos, and wild dogs. Visitors enjoy game drives, night drives, and guided bush walks in a remote, scenic wilderness.
