Despite living in Botswana her whole life, Masego had never seen the Okavango Delta before.

“The first time I set my eyes on the magical land of the Okavango Delta was from the air as I headed to Camp Okavango. I was amazed by its beauty and sheer scale.”

From boat cruises and mokoro safaris to guided bush walks, Masego experienced the Delta in all its beauty. She spotted crocodiles resting on papyrus, hippos playing in the water, red lechwes moving through the floodplains, and even a shy sitatunga disappearing into the reeds.

One special highlight was finally spotting elephants after telling her guide she had never seen one before.

“It was an elephant mother and her calf. Baby elephants are so cute and funny to watch.”

Her adventure ended with sundowners in the middle of the Okavango Delta, surrounded by water, wildlife, and unforgettable scenery.
