Tawana Camp
Tawana Okavango Delta is a luxury safari retreat situated in the south-eastern sector of the Moremi Game Reserve. It is set along the banks of the Gomoti River, at the edge of the Okavango Delta. Here, wildlife-rich floodplains and untouched wilderness surround the camp. As a result, guests enjoy an intimate blend of luxury, cultural depth, and exceptional game viewing.
Named in honour of Chief Tawana Moremi, the camp celebrates the heritage of the Batawana people. This cultural connection is woven throughout the experience. For example, it is reflected in the architecture, interior design, and curated library. In addition, the library highlights local history, storytelling traditions, and conservation milestones.
The main area at Tawana Camp is designed to place guests at the centre of the wilderness while offering refined comfort. Elevated on timber decks and surrounded by ebony trees, it blends naturally into the environment. From here, guests enjoy uninterrupted views of the Gomoti River floodplains. Meanwhile, wildlife moves freely through the unfenced camp.
