zambezi national park
Zambezi National Park is located on the falls’ western side, approximately 40 km along the Zambezi River. The park is well known for its abundance of antelopes. Elephants, zebras, kudus, elands and lions can also be seen during game drives and safari walks. With its proximity to Victoria Falls, activities and tours of the falls can easily be arranged for guests staying at lodges in this area. The rainy season is between November and May, and access to Zambezi National Park is in 4×4 vehicles only.
Old Drift Lodge
Old Drift Lodge is a luxurious, all-inclusive tented lodge perched on the Zambezi River within Zambezi National Park, just upstream from Victoria Falls. The property features 14 elegant suites—including family and star suites—with plunge pools, outdoor baths, and river views. Included are guided game drives, river safaris, walking safaris, and access to The Lookout Café for gorge-side dining.
