Shongwe Lookout
Shongwe Lookout is conveniently located just over a kilometre from Victoria Falls Town, offering easy access by foot or a short taxi ride to the town’s main attractions and facilities. The lodge features 23 well-appointed rooms, including 4 studio rooms, 16 deluxe rooms, and 3 executive rooms – each with views overlooking the Zambezi River.
The main area at Shongwe Lookout includes a stylish lounge, bar, and restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. At the front of the lodge, a swimming pool is surrounded by shaded seating areas facing the manicured gardens, providing a perfect place to relax during the heat of the day. A fire pit in the open area offers a welcoming space for socialising before or after dinner.
One of Shongwe Lookout’s most distinctive features is its elevated lookout tower – a unique vantage point offering panoramic views of the Zambezi River and the spray rising from Victoria Falls. Guests can enjoy sunrise coffees and evening drinks from the tower, which features an innovative intercom and pulley system for ordering beverages and snacks without leaving the view.
