Changa Safari Camp is set on the shores of Lake Kariba in Matusadona National Park, offering sweeping views of the lake and the Matusadona mountains. Its prime location allows guests to immerse themselves in the tranquillity of the wilderness while enjoying warm hospitality and the stunning natural beauty that defines this region.
The camp features six luxury tented suites and two family luxury tents, each consisting of two en suite bedrooms connected by an interleading door. Constructed from natural materials such as wood, canvas, and leather, and decorated with woven baskets and locally made furniture, the suites provide an authentic African experience combined with modern comfort.
The main area overlooks Lake Kariba and includes a dining area, swimming pool, and a comfortable lounge where guests can relax during the heat of the day. In the evenings, the fire pit, surrounded by well-placed chairs in front of camp, becomes a gathering point for guests to share stories of the day’s adventures. Meals are typically served in the communal dining area, but guests can also enjoy private dining experiences under the shade of a tree on a wooden deck overlooking the lake or on the sandy beach by the water.
