KIRI CAMP

Kiri Camp Okavango Delta offers a contemporary safari experience, combining exceptional wildlife, water-based activities, and a refined yet relaxed atmosphere. Located within a private concession in the remote southern Okavango Delta, the camp sits along the Kiri River channel.

This pristine wilderness is known for its high biodiversity and strong predator presence. As a result, guests enjoy excellent year-round land-based wildlife viewing, along with seasonal water activities. In addition, the camp is set beneath towering ebony trees and overlooks open floodplains, creating a sense of privacy and immersion.

Kiri Camp is located approximately 20 km south of Chief’s Island. It is accessible via a 15–25 minute charter flight from Maun, followed by a short game drive. As a result, the journey into camp already feels like part of the safari experience.

The main area reflects a contemporary eco-luxury design that blends with the surrounding forest. Open-sided structures allow for natural airflow and uninterrupted views of the landscape.

  • Comfortable lounge areas for relaxation
  • A dedicated library for quiet moments
  • Open spaces designed to connect with nature
  • Central firepit for evenings under the stars

Accommodation at Kiri Camp

Kiri Camp accommodates up to 24 guests in 10 luxury safari tents, including 8 standard tents and 2 family units. Each tent is designed in a classic African style, while incorporating modern comfort and eco-conscious materials.

The tents feature:

  • Raised wooden decks with panoramic floodplain views
  • En suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers
  • Private outdoor bathtubs
  • Spacious interiors with natural textures and African décor

Each tent is positioned to maximise privacy. As a result, guests can often view wildlife such as elephant and buffalo directly from their deck.

Why Choose Kiri Camp

Kiri Camp is known for its high-density wildlife viewing in the southern Okavango Delta. As a result, guests can expect regular sightings of lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo. In addition, African wild dog sightings and seasonal birdlife add to the diversity.

The landscape changes with the seasons. During drier months, game viewing remains consistent. Meanwhile, floodwaters transform the area into an aquatic wilderness during peak water season.

As a result, Kiri Camp is ideal for travellers seeking a combination of raw wilderness, refined comfort, and privacy.
