John’s Camp is a seasonal safari camp open from May to mid-November, set within the breathtaking Mana Pools National Park, one of Africa’s most celebrated wilderness areas. Known for its outstanding walking safaris and incredible game viewing, the camp offers guests an authentic and intimate bush experience. Accommodation consists of just 6 walk-in Meru-style safari tents, designed to be rustic yet comfortable. Overlooking the open floodplain, each tent provides guests with an immersive connection to the wilderness. The main area forms the heart of the camp, where guests gather for meals and to share stories from the day’s adventures.

ACTIVITIES
John’s Camp focuses on exceptional guiding and authentic safari experiences. Guests can explore Mana Pools on morning and afternoon game drives or on foot during guided walking safaris. The star bed experience provides a magical opportunity to sleep under the African night sky while overlooking the floodplains. Fishing on the Zambezi River is available, and birdwatchers can spot a wide variety of species. Game viewing is exceptional, with opportunities to see wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs, spotted hyenas, buffalos, kudus, zebras, and many other species in their natural environment.
