Mana Pools National Park is located in the lower Zambezi's southern section and northeast of Lake Kariba and Victoria Falls. Mana Pools National Park is arguably the most beautiful game reserve in Africa, renowned for its walking safaris. As well as offering exceptional nature walk safaris and spectacular game sightings, it is also known for providing the best canoeing safari experience in Southern Africa from the Kariba Dam through to Kariba Gorge to the border of Mana Pools along the national park border. Characterized by rich vegetation, Mana Pools offers an unforgettable experience and incredible game sightings, including wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs and spotted hyenas, as well as buffalos, kudus, zebras and different bird species. The best time to visit Mana Pools National Park is during the dry season from July through to October, when large populations of game are highly concentrated near the rivers and valleys, grazing and drinking. Mana Pools is accessible by boat from Lake Kariba or by air and road into the camps and lodges within the park.
John's Camp
John's Camp is a seasonal camp open between May and mid-November, located in Mana Pools National Park, arguably the most beautiful game reserve in Africa, which offers exceptional nature walk safaris and spectacular game sightings. The emphasis at John's Camp is on the guiding and experience – game viewing is spectacular. Guests can explore the area by vehicle and on foot allowing ample opportunity to see different vegetation and wildlife in Mana Pools National Park.
