ACTIVITIES
Khwai Lediba, as part of the Khwai Community Concession, supports local initiatives through the Khwai Community Development Trust, with a percentage of tourism fees benefiting community projects. Being in a community-managed area allows for a broader range of activities than within the national parks.
Guests can enjoy day and night game drives, mokoro excursions, and guided walking safaris. Night drives with spotlights provide a unique chance to observe elusive nocturnal species such as genets, bush babies and aardvarks. Walking safaris offer a more intimate connection with the land, focusing on tracks, plants and smaller wildlife. Mokoro excursions glide through the Delta’s reed-lined waterways, allowing peaceful encounters with birds, frogs and semi-aquatic animals.
