Leroo La Tau is built on a 25m high cliff on the Boteti River, on the Western Boundary of Makgadikgadi National Park. Leroo La Tau offers early mornings, late afternoons and evenings to do game drives and walks within the vicinity. As there are no manmade boundaries separating the lodge from the National Park, game viewing is rewarding. Spot lit night drives offer a surreal perspective that is not easily emulated anywhere else. Nxai Pan National Park and the famed Baine’s Baobabs are situated in the northern reaches of the Makgadikgadi system. These areas make for exciting day trips from Leroo La Tau. The spectacular annual Zebra and Wildebeest migration occurs in this region. At this time, whilst exploring the lodge surrounds, guests will witness the interaction of an extraordinary number of animals – including Zebra, Wildebeest, antelope and elephant, along with the predators that follow them.
