Kwando Safaris’ new lodge in their exclusive Kwara Concession, Splash Camp, provides new accommodation in this well known area.  The camp is situated under shady trees and provides access to permanent water and seasonal floodplains.  Whilst a new camp Splash is one of the oldest names in the delta.

With twelve tents, including two family rooms, set overlooking a productive pan, Splash offers comfortable accommodation.  Tents are en-suite and all have indoor-outdoor showers.   The ambiance is simple yet graceful with contemporary furnishings.

Public areas include a sitting area, bar, curio shop as well as a plunge pool to cool down during the hot summer months.

An exclusive use camp within the camp, the Splash Enclave, offers private use for six to ten guests with a separate communal area with lounge, bar, dining area and plunge pool.   The Enclave is perfect for families or small groups with no age restrictions.

Activities explore the Kwara Concession with experienced guides and trackers conducting both day and night game drives and bush walks.  Depending on water levels boat and mokoro excursions are offered.  Splash also offers leisure fishing.  Birding is good within the concession with seasonal visits to various heronaries.
