Zambezi Region

The Zambezi Region, formerly known as the Caprivi Strip, lies in northeastern Namibia and is distinguished by its lush vegetation, dense woodlands, and expansive wetlands. Bordered by Angola and Zambia to the north and Botswana to the south and east, the region spans approximately 14,785 km² and is nourished by several perennial rivers, including the Zambezi, Kwando, and Chobe.

This unique geographical setting supports a rich diversity of wildlife. Large populations of hippos, buffalos, elephants, and kudus inhabit the area, alongside over 400 recorded bird species, making it a prime destination for both wildlife enthusiasts and birders. Activities in the Zambezi Region are primarily water-based, with river cruises, mokoro excursions, and fishing among the most popular ways to explore this remarkable wetland environment.

Chobe Savanna Lodge

Chobe Savanna Lodge is a secluded luxury camp on Namibia’s northern bank of the Chobe River, overlooking the Puku Flats of Chobe National Park. It accommodates about 24–26 guests in thatched chalets with private decks, air-conditioning, en suite bathrooms, and minibars. Activities include river boat safaris, catch‑and‑release fishing, birding, cultural visits, a pool, and a boma area.
