The President Hotel
Cresta President Hotel is located in Gaborone’s central business district. Built 42 years ago, this centrally located hotel was established as the first proper hotel in Gaborone before Botswana gained its independence on 30 September 1966. Officially re-opened on 09 August 2007, the President Hotel boasts state of the art hotel rooms, a refurbished restaurant, conference rooms and a stylish bar.
The President Hotel has a total of 93 rooms including 1 Standard paraplegic room, 2 family rooms, a Presidential Suite, 1 junior suite, 4 executive double rooms, 36 double bedded rooms and 48 twin bedded rooms. Rooms include the following features: air-conditioning, colour satellite television and remote control, telephone with voice mail, bath and shower, tea and coffee facilities and mini bars on request.
The President Hotel offers a 16 hour room service, a-la-carte restaurant, cocktail bar, gift and book shop, secretarial services, airport transfers, foreign exchange, airport transfer services and municipal parking. The President Hotel is able to offer comprehensive conference facilities, easily adaptable for banquets, functions, cocktail parties and wedding receptions.
