Tembo Plains Camp is nestled within a thick riverine forest along the edge of the Zambezi River in the private Sapi Reserve, east of Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park. This remote setting offers guests an exclusive safari experience in a region known for its rich vegetation and exceptional wildlife sightings, including wild dogs, leopards, cheetahs, and spotted hyenas, as well as buffalo, kudu, zebra, and a diverse range of bird species.

The camp comprises four expansive canvas suites, each with an en suite bathroom, private plunge pool, and wraparound deck that opens onto uninterrupted views of the Zambezi River. In addition, there is a two-bedroom family suite, ideal for groups or families, which includes a shared outdoor seating area and the same luxurious amenities. All suites blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest, creating an intimate and immersive bush experience.

The main area of Tembo Plains Camp includes a spacious tented lounge, dining area, library, and wine cellar. A firepit with surrounding seating provides the perfect space for evening relaxation, storytelling, or enjoying the sounds of the bush at night.
