Tawana Camp
Tawana Camp is a luxury safari retreat situated in the south-eastern sector of the Moremi Game Reserve. It is set along the serene banks of the Gomoti River at the edge of the Okavango Delta. Here, wildlife-rich floodplains and untouched wilderness surround the camp. As a result, guests enjoy an intimate blend of indulgence, cultural depth, and exceptional game-viewing experiences.
Named in honour of Chief Tawana Moremi, the camp pays tribute to the heritage and legacy of the Batawana people. This cultural connection is thoughtfully woven into every aspect of the camp. For example, it appears in the architectural style and interior décor, as well as in a curated library that celebrates local history, storytelling traditions, and conservation milestones.
The main area at Tawana Camp is a beautifully crafted space designed to place guests at the heart of the Moremi wilderness while offering refined comfort and luxury. Elevated on timber decks and surrounded by towering ebony trees, the central hub blends seamlessly into its natural environment. From here, guests enjoy uninterrupted views of the Gomoti River floodplains and the abundant wildlife that moves through the unfenced camp.
