Lower Zambezi National Park
Lower Zambezi National Park stretches along the northern banks of the Zambezi River, directly opposite Zimbabwe’s Mana Pools National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This pristine wilderness is celebrated for its remarkable wildlife sightings, particularly its large herds of elephants and healthy leopard population. The park is one of Zambia’s premier safari destinations and is especially well-suited to exploration on foot.
Activities include guided walking safaris, game drives, canoeing excursions, boat cruises, and catch-and-release fishing – all offered by the various lodges and camps within the park. The absence of fencing and the park’s unspoiled environment allow wildlife to move freely, providing guests with the chance to witness species such as wild dogs, lions, hippos, crocodiles, zebras and giraffes in their natural habitat.
Lower Zambezi is also a superb year-round birding destination, with a wide range of resident and migratory species thriving in the riverine and woodland habitats.

Amanzi Camp
Amanzi Camp is a luxurious, intimate safari retreat on the banks of the Zambezi River in Zambia’s Lower Zambezi National Park. The lodge offers 15 secluded thatched suites—classic, deluxe with plunge pools, and grand presidential—with river views and elegant finishes.
