HWANGE NATIONAL PARK
Hwange National Park, located to the south of Victoria Falls, is Zimbabwe’s largest and most renowned national park. The park is celebrated for its remarkable elephant population, estimated at over 24,000, as well as its large herds of buffalo. Home to more than 100 species of mammals, Hwange offers excellent game viewing opportunities, with regular sightings of zebra, wildebeest, wild dogs, and lions. The park is also a haven for birdlife, including notable species such as the kori bustard and Bradfield’s hornbill.
The best time to visit is during the dry season, from June to October, when wildlife congregates around the waterholes, creating ideal conditions for exceptional game viewing. Hwange National Park is accessible by road—though a 4×4 vehicle is recommended during the rainy season—and by air via scheduled domestic flights.

Bomani Tented Lodge
Bomani Tented Lodge is a remote, eco-friendly safari camp set on a private 5,000-acre reserve adjacent to Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park. With spacious tented rooms, a main thatched lounge overlooking a lively waterhole, and tailor-made game drives, walking safaris, and nighttime exploration, the lodge provides authentic wildlife immersion with warm hospitality.

Somalisa Acacia
Nestled on an acacia island in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park, Somalisa Acacia is a family-focused luxury tented camp offering four suites—two family units and two doubles—each with indoor/outdoor showers, a copper bath, and private decks overlooking the Elephant Pool. Guests enjoy guided game drives, walking safaris, birding, and close-up wildlife viewing from camp.

The Hide Safari Camp
The Hide Safari Camp is an exclusive, owner-operated tented lodge set on a private concession at Hwange National Park’s eastern border. With 10 luxury tents overlooking a wildlife-rich waterhole, the camp features an underground photographic hide, guided game drives, night safaris, walking excursions, romantic sleep-outs, and the iconic treehouse called the Dove’s Nest.
