Itinerary

Day 1-3

On arrival at Maun Airport, guests will be met and assisted connecting on a small aircraft flight heading to the airstrip from where guests will be met and welcomed by their guide for a transfer to Karangoma for a stay of 3 nights on fully inclusive basis.

Karangoma is situated in the Okavango Delta. This small, exclusive camp offers the opportunity for some truly special game viewing and connection with the natural world. Karangoma offers accommodation in 6 tented suites hidden on a shaded peninsula with gorgeous views out across the floodplains. Activities on offer include game drives, night drives, walking safaris, mokoro and boating excursions. Guests will have an opportunity to spot lions, leopards, elephants during their safari activities.

On this day, guests will check out Karangoma for a connection helicopter transfer to the Okavango Delta for their 4 nights Kweene trail mobile safari.

The mobile safari trail begins southern section of the Kweene River surrounded by seasonal swamps and plains moving further up north of the  Kweene River system exploring yet another unique area Magwegwe region enclosed with all-year-round water surfaces and ever-flowing floodplains making it possible to do water activities.  Moving between these two areas may be through a combination of foot, mokoro, and game drives with a bush picnic lunch en route. The region has an amazing diversity of experiences to offer, guests can embark on guided game drives to see the region’s abundant wildlife such as lions, leopards, elephants, or hippos. Seasonal mokoro activity along the Kweene water channels and guided walking safaris for an intimate encounter with the wilderness.

End of Itinerary and last stay of the mobile safari, after light breakfast guests will check out and be transferred to the nearest airstrip for a Helicopter transfer to Maun International Airport for onward travel.
