Xigera Safari Lodge

Package rate includes all meals, park fees, accommodation taxes, applicable tourism levies and all relevant Value Added Tax (VAT), All non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (with the exception of wines, spirits and champagnes on the Premium List), return scheduled flight transfers from Maun, Daily laundry service, All activities, including game drives, seasonal boating, seasonal catch-and-release fishing m0koro excursions, walking, use of the gym, pool and library and In-suite Wi-Fi.
Package rate excludes travel insurance and visas, scenic flights, discretionary gratuities, all purchases from the Xigera Shop and drinks on the premium list
Itinerary
Day 1-3
From Maun Airport, guests will be met and assisted with a connection onto a light aircraft flight to extra ordinary, remarkable and breathtaking Xigera Safari Lodge for a 3 night stay on fully inclusive basis.
Situated on one of the Okavango’s key waterways, Xigera Safari Lodge is surrounded by picturesque papyrus swamps, seasonal floodplains, and wooded islands and is renowned for its very high density of sitatunga antelope. The area is known for remarkable mammal sightings including red lechwe, spotted-necked otter, elephant, buffalo, reedbuck and tsessebe Predators include lion, spotted hyaena and leopard. Adding to this, guests are sometimes treated to close-up views of lion or leopard using the footbridge connecting Xigera to the next island. Safari excursions include game drives, guided walking safaris, mokoro and boat cruises, birding safari, fishing, spa and wellness included in the package as well the bush dining experience and helicopter scenic flights providing a wonderful opportunity to view the flora and fauna that surrounds Xigera and allows ample wildlife or landscape photography shots from the skies.
Day 4
On a final morning of the stay at Xigera Safari Lodge, guests will wake so early in morning to get a light breakfast then go for a morning activity and upon their return, they will be transferred well on time to the Airstrip to connect onto a light aircraft to transfer back to Maun.
