From Windhoek to Kalahari

Today, guests will be picked up from The Weinberg Hotel in Windhoek to start this incredible Safari. Guests will be transferred by road heading to the Kalahari Desert where they will spend 2 nights at Kalahari Anib Lodge on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner and Lunch are not included and are booked and payable directly to the lodge.

Kalahari Anib Lodge in eastern Namibia offers majestic views of the Kalahari Desert. The Lodge offers a range of activities, including morning and sunset game drives into the Kalahari Desert and guided dune walks. They also provide separate nature drives for families; guests wanting to explore alone can use the self-guided hiking trails on foot or by e-bike. The perfect time to experience and enjoy the magical Kalahari colours is during sunset. Activities can be included and arranged for guests on request.

Kalahari Desert to Namib Desert

On this day, after a breakfast meal, guests will further explore Namibia heading to the Namib Desert for a 2 night at stay at Namib Desert Lodge on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner and Lunch are not included and are booked and payable directly to the lodge.

Namib Desert Lodge is the perfect place to put up your feet between exploring the Namib-Naukluft National Park noted to be the largest park in Namibia. Guests at Namib Desert Lodge can join a sunset or early morning nature drive through the red dunes exploring the desert's wonders and the highest dunes on Earth. Alternatively, guests can explore the surrounding area on foot using the trail map available from the lodge or on an e-bike. Activities can be included and arranged for guests on request.

Namib Desert to Swakopmund

An early start to the day awaits as guests checks out of Namib Desert Lodge for a road transfer to The Delight Swakopmund for a 2-night stay on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner and Lunch are not included and are booked and payable directly to the lodge.

A highlight of a stay at The Delight is its scrumptious breakfast spread. Pour yourself a glass of champagne and freshly squeezed orange juice and savour Walvis Bay oysters before heading off to explore the town or choose an activity or excursion. Swakopmund is the adventure capital of Namibia and excursions range from Living Desert tours, kayaking in the Walvis Bay lagoon and dolphin cruises to sandboarding, quad-biking and skydiving. Take the pick or just relax ending the day in one of Swakopmund’s popular restaurants. Activities can be included and arranged for guests on request.

Swakopmund to Damaraland

After a day of fun and exploration, guests continue northwards to Henties Bay along the coast before veering inland toward Uis and the Brandberg massif. Nearing the Ugab River, look out for the striking Herero women with their colourful stalls. The next stop will be the Petrified forest, a testament to the Earth’s intriguing geological history Damara Mopane Lodge where guests will stay for 2 night on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner and Lunch are not included and are booked and payable directly to the lodge.

Explore Damaraland viewing the rock art, visit the Twyfelfontein, home to a treasure-trove of ancient rock engravings. The area was once visited by groups of hunters and gatherers, who congregated at the rock pools in the dry season. Their shamans beseeched the gods for rain, healing for their people and luck for the hunt, hammering their prayers into the sandstone rock. The dry desert environment has preserved these engravings for thousands of years. Other geological stops include the Organ Pipes and the Burnt Mountain. For some local culture, guests will visit the Damara Living Museum. Do not miss the afternoon walk to the sunset deck for a sundowner drink and an exceptional view of the landscape. Damaraland to Etosha National Park

After departing Damara Mopane Lodge, guests will visit Himba village before continuing to the Etosha National Park for a 2-night stay at Etosha Safari Lodge on bed and breakfast basis. Dinner and Lunch are not included and are booked and payable directly to the lodge.

Etosha Safari Lodge is situated in the southern section of the national park. Etosha Safari Lodge offers early morning or late afternoon game drives into the national park. Guests will explore the national park with knowledgeable guides who are familiar with the waterholes and the animals that frequent them. This is a wonderful opportunity to be introduced to African wildlife, such as zebras, lions and antelope species, from the comfortable seat of a game vehicle. Last breakfast meal is enjoyed at the Etosha Safari camp before guests checks out and drive southwards back to Windhoek through Okahandja’s popular woodcarver’s market. On arrival at Windhoek, guide will drop the guests off at The Weinberg Hotel where they will spend 1 night on bed and breakfast basis.

End of Itinerary and the last stay at the Weinberg Hotel, after a light breakfast guests will check out of the hotel and be transferred to Hosea Kutako International Airport for onward travel arrangements.
