zambezi national park

Falls's western side

Zambezi National Park is located on the falls' western side, approximately 40 km along the Zambezi River. The park is well known for its abundance of antelopes. Elephants, zebras, kudus, elands and lions can also be seen during game drives and safari walks. With its proximity to Victoria Falls, activities and tours of the falls can easily be arranged for guests staying at lodges in this area. The rainy season is between November and May, and access to Zambezi National Park is in 4x4 vehicles only.
