Shinde Footsteps, a recently rebuilt exclusive safari camp, is located in the Four rivers area of the Shinde private concession in the northern part of the Okavango Delta.
Taking advantage of its perfect location on a private concession overlooking a lagoon, this newly refurbished and intimate camp is in a very rich wildlife area offering an unique and luxurious safari experience with all year round water activities. Shinde Footsteps is capable of creating unforgettable safari memories.
Accommodation at Shinde Footsteps offers 4 spacious, classically appointed canvas tents, each with ensuite facilities. One of the tented units is a family tent, configured with two rooms. Shinde Footsteps accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Shinde Footsteps is a very intimate camp offering a personal safari experience making it an ideal option for an exclusive use by small group of family and family alike.
Shinde Footsteps' main area is beautifully designed to include dining area where meals are served, a relaxing lounge area which is overlooking the lagoon. After a fun-filled day exploring the wilderness, guests may visit the photo editing suite equipped with desks, chairs and charging ports. Evenings are spent around a firepit on a sandy ground. Shinde Footsteps, being small and exclusive, exudes and encourages freedom and welcomes the mentality of barefoot luxury. Shinde Footsteps in located in a prime area rich in wildlife, therefore guests will have an opportunity to spot leopards, lions, hyenas, wild dogs, kudu, zebras and giraffes as well as quite a number of various bird species and semi-aquatic species including the ever shy sitatunga.
