Daily schedule at Shinde Footsteps is determined by the guest and can be changed when they are in camp. The general routine will be a dawn wakeup call with coffee or tea, meet at the mess tent for a light breakfast and then head off on a walking safari when the sun is up.

Return to camp for brunch and a midday siesta before setting off after high tea for an afternoon walk and game drive. Wild dogs and lion are often seen in the area and also a variety of plains game including kudu, tsessebe, zebra, giraffe and impala. If guests wish, they can also go on game drives and mokoro excursions, depending on water levels.

Shinde Footsteps Camp also caters for Family Safari groups, with children as young as 7 years old and can hire the whole Shinde Footsteps camp for private use, including the services of one of the guides, who specialize in guiding children. Activities vary from making bows and arrows to cooking on a fire. The guides teach children to identify animals and their tracks, to learn bush skills which includes fishing. The emphasis is on learning to understand and respect the natural environment.

After morning activity and breakfast, if time permits, guest will connect on to a light charter aircraft for their return flight to Maun.
