Gomoti Plains Camp, Okavango Delta

After a light breakfast this morning, guests depart overland to Maun approximately 6 hours drive. After which they will fly by light aircraft to the south-east paradise of the Okavango Delta, Gomoti where guests will enjoy classic Okavango land experience with floodplains filled with general game and predators.

Gomoti Plains Camp lies in the center of the private 6000ha Santawani Concession, in the southeastern corner of the Okavango Delta. The camp is nestled under large acacia trees in a diverse game rich area. Most of the concession area comprises a mixed woodland habitat that gives way to open grasslands which can transform into floodplains in years of plentiful water. Gomoti Plains Camp offers extensive water activities with incredible wildlife diversity. The wildlife viewing in the area, both from vehicle or water is superb. Guests can look forward to Mokoro trips, motorboats (water dependant) and game viewing by vehicle and on foot.

Xigera Safari Lodge, Okavango Delta

After a light breakfast, guests will check out Gomoti Plains Camp to fly by a light aircraft to the water-filled paradise of the private Xigera area in the Okavango Delta.

Xigera Safari Lodge is the Delta personified deeply rooted in the Okavango Delta, a breathtaking landscape of seasonal floodplains and riverine forests, grasslands and papyrus wetlands with serene waters flowing through innumerable channels around remote islands and a profusion of plant and animal life. The lush grasslands and verdant islands also support large herds of antelope, including kudu, wildebeest and the semi-aquatic red lechwe. On your safari excursions from Xigera, look forward to sightings of lions, cheetahs and leopards as well as packs of endangered African wild dog and the ever-resourceful spotted hyena. Activities offered include game drives, walking safaris, mokoro, boat cruise, fishing and birding.

Chobe River boat cruise, Chobe National Park and Toka Leya Camp, Zambia

After a short morning drive and breakfast, guests depart by light aircraft to the northern Chobe region of Chobe National Park. This area is famous for its vast herds of elephants in the dry season and other unique species such as the elusive puku and Chobe bushbuck that move to the river in the hottest hours of the day. Guests will enjoy a light lunch on the boat cruise in a catamaran-style shaded boat.

After clearing customs and immigration formalities through the Kazangula border -the point where the four countries of Botswana, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe meet, guests will be transferred on road to Toka Leya for a 2 nights stay on fully inclusive basis.

Toka Leya Camp is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River in the eastern sector of the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, some 12 km up from the Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Whilst staying at Toka Leya, excursions include game drives, cruises along the Zambezi river be on the look out for hippos, crocodiles and elephants. Track rhinos on foot or embrace local culture on tour to a nearby Livingstone village, school or market. Do the tour of the majestic Victoria falls on the Zambia side as well as visit of the devil’s pool.

Victoria Falls, transfer to Livingstone Airport
