Sanctuary Sussi & Chuma is on the banks of the Zambezi River within Mosi-oa-Tunya, approximately 12 km from Victoria Falls. Perfectly located at a quiet bend in the river between Jackalberry trees and palms, the lodge offers spectacular views across the river. Sussi & Chuma provides accommodation in 12 en suite treehouses connected by wooden walkways and each with a private viewing deck.
Sussi & Chuma's two-storey main area includes a lounge, elevated bar and an open-air dining area. The infinity pool has views directly over the Zambezi River and the boma offers a beautiful setting to watch the sun set.
Activities
Activities Game sightings within the park include elephant, impala, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile and zebra in large numbers. Birding can be excellent, particularly in the wet season, with various species, including Peters Finfoot. Currently, Sussi & Chuma is the only lodge offering bush walks in the park. Game drives, a tour of Victoria Falls, canoeing, sundowner river cruises, white water rafting and fishing are also available, so guests can truly explore Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, creating unforgettable memories.
