Amanzi Camp is perfectly situated on the edge of a high bank above a channel of the Zambezi River in the Lower Zambezi National Park. It offers a wonderful, intimate experience of the wild. Explore the mighty Zambezi River for some exceptional fishing experiences as well as an abundance of highly concentrated flora and fauna. Amanzi Camp accommodation is in 4 intimate styled tented suites, with each room offering incredible views of the mighty Zambezi River. 2 of the spacious and beautifully designed rooms are connected to function as a family tent. The tented suites are connected to the main lodge by a raised walkway.
The main deck area is furnished with coffee tables and couches with beautiful cushions so guests can relax during siesta time, while awaiting meals, or before their activities. The bar and dining area are located in the main camp area, which offers stunning views of the mighty Zambezi River, and the swimming pool is situated down the bank to sit alongside the river.
Activities
The Lower Zambezi region has a very high concentration of wildlife and offers an impressively wide range of land and water-based safari activities. For a stay at Amazi Camp, guests will explore the region by doing boat and canoe safaris, game drives, nature walks and fishing in the hope of catching tigerfish. During some of these safari activities, guests can expect to see leopards, elephants, lions, buffalos and a variety of bird species as well as smaller nocturnal creatures on night drives.
